Get ready for the 2nd Annual Calumet Obstacle & Trail Challenge — now with something for everyone!
From Jackman Ridge to the Outdoor Chapel to beautiful Ossipee Lake, you’ll experience the full Calumet property along our scenic 5K trail. Along the way, enjoy a series of fun and creative obstacles designed to challenge you just enough while keeping it exciting and accessible.
This year, we’re offering both a timed race for those who want to push the pace and a walking challenge for anyone who prefers to take it all in at a more relaxed speed. However you choose to participate, you’ll be supporting the year-round programs that make Calumet such a special place.

Why are we doing this?
To come together as a community and help raise funds for Calumet’s Annual Fund to support the many important programs we provide each year. No child should ever miss out on experiencing camp because of the cost. Your participation helps ensure we have the funds needed to make camp a reality for families and kids across the region.
5K + 12 obstacles + Calumet’s beautiful property = Fun for everyone!
Climb the hay bale mountain, sing a camp song, and tackle the Toboggan Run log carry. These are just a few of the obstacles that you will face in the Calumet challenge.

Challenge Date: Saturday August 29, 2026
Start time: 10am ET
Location: Camp Calumet - 1090 Ossipee Lake Road, Freedom, NH
Lodging: Campground and group cabin lodging are included with your registration. Village cabins and Conference Center rooms are available as upgraded options while space remains
