"It's Our Story

(and we're stickin' to it)"

Calumet Lutheran Ministries, partnering together with First Christian Church in Freedom and Nativity Lutheran in North Conway, will present a Lessons & Carols experience on December 16 at the Oasis, Calumet's newest meeting space located directly behind the Conference Center.

The event is a follow-up to 2022's very successful "A Calumet Christmas Carol" which was a re-telling of the Dickins classic which invited people from far and wide to participate LIVE on Facebook and YouTube. There were hundreds of people who came together for a event in 2022.

"It's Our Story ... (And We're Stickin' To It)" will be a wondrous experience that includes story-telling and musical expressions that are anchored in who we are as people of God. The story -- the story that is and has been and will be ours to tell -- is that of Jesus the Savior who is coming in (and is always coming in) to the world.

The special event is perfect for all ages.

It will begin at 6:30 PM with 30 minutes of gathering music by esteemed quartet "Intonations" which includes Calumet's own Kat Dickau!

At 7 PM, we begin the event which will include former camp director Jim Doyle reading a book to a group of young people, the Silver Lake Singers, the choirs from nearby congregations Nativity Lutheran in North Conway & First Christian in Freedom, alum Rob Gray, Kiersten Bjork, and Pastor Mary Edes who will be among our evening's story-tellers, and Pastor Jon Hopkins introducing the gathered people to the beneficiaries of the evening's LOVE OFFERING.
