Calumet’s Homeschoolers Week is the perfect opportunity for families of homeschooled students to get away, relax, and enjoy a vacation in one of the most breathtaking settings in New England!
Nestled along the shores of beautiful Lake Ossipee, Calumet boasts over a quarter mile of sandy beach that is perfect for swimming, playing, or just simply lounging around. We also have plenty of canoes and kayaks should you want to explore the lake, or, for those of you who'd prefer a more leisurely tour, we have a comfortable pontoon boat that makes multiple trips daily. Our athletic amenities include fields for soccer, softball, and archery, as well as courts for tennis, basketball, and volleyball. We also have an arts and crafts facility, a low ropes course, and miles of nature trails that are perfect for hiking!
Calumet has a wide variety of overnight accommodations that are sure to fit any budget and personal preference. You can choose from rooms in our comfortable and modern Conference Center, or enjoy a more summer-campy experience by staying in one of our simple cabins. For those of you who prefer "roughing it," we offer camping sites in our campground that are furnished with electricity and water hookups. Meals are available as part of a package plan if you let the registration office know one week in advance, or a-la-carte if you are staying in the campground and prefer to cook your own.
