Celebrating Knute Ogren’s Years of Service to Calumet

With deep gratitude, Calumet announces that Knute Ogren will be stepping down from his role as Development Director after many years of passionate, generous and spirit-filled service.
Knute’s work has been true ministry, reflected in his unwavering passion for hospitality, his gifts for fostering vibrant relationships rooted in God’s abundant love, and his dedication to engaging with so many individuals and families committed to supporting Calumet’s mission. Knute's love for Calumet began as a camper and continued through his years on summer staff. He was a CIT of 1990, and served on staff as a counselor, unit leader, program director and music director. In 2010 he began serving as Calumet's Interim Development Director and has remained a part of the year-round staff ever since. Whether singing with a Bunch of Guys, coordinating hundreds of runners for Reach the Beach, sharing conversation over coffee, or leading a fantastic fundraising campaign in a way that only he can, his work has been a testament to the Spirit’s presence in this place, and his legacy will continue to inspire us for years to come.
The Board of Directors and staff invite you to join us in giving thanks for Knute’s incredible contributions, praying for his future endeavors and celebrating his impact. Knute has written countless personal thank-you notes over the years—if you feel moved, please consider sending one back to him as a token of appreciation. Knute’s last day is April 6, and while he will be deeply missed, his legacy will live on (notes may be sent to Knute c/o Calumet, PO Box 236, W. Ossipee, NH 03890).
So Calumet Nation, please join us in celebrating, with a mighty Boom Chicka Boom, Knute Ogren's years of service and the lasting impact he has made here at Calumet and beyond. Be Good
