APRIL 13-15, 2018
Theme: "Reimagining Youth Ministry as ALL Ministry"
Facilitator: Pastor Geoff and Tammie Sinibaldo, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Old Saybrook, CT
This weekend retreat is an opportunity to come together with other Sunday School teachers, youth leaders, confirmation teachers, pastors, deacons, parents, etc. to reflect, to think, to brainstorm, to discuss, and to reimagine how the church looks at youth ministry. This particular 2018 weekend we will think about youth as ALL Ministry, not just a separate component in the life of a congregation.
Perhaps you have tried this approach in your own congregation? Maybe you need to bounce some ideas off on others in the same boat as you? Or do you just need a fresh approach to looking at youth ministry?
Based on the 2015 Rethinking Sunday School Weekend, guests will meet in large and small groups to share new and current ideas/resources for youth ministries. You are invited to bring any resources that have inspired you.
As a result of the 2015 Weekend, people were jumpstarted to meet with folks in their congregations and with area churches to spark new ways to talk and share our faith. Maybe this weekend will inspire you and your congregation to rethink and reimagine the potential of ministry with your youth?
